Find out which supplier SDSs you can pass on, and fix the rest.

A foreign supplier's SDS is written for its own market. We tell you which ones can be passed on as they are, and bring the others up to Canadian, US, EU or UK requirements.

Local supplier details

Products sold in Canada need the Canadian manufacturer or importer on the SDS and label, unless an exemption applies. In the EU, the label must name an EU supplier.

French versions

Supplier SDSs from other countries rarely come in French. Canadian SDSs and labels must be available in both languages.

US and Canadian differences

Both systems follow the GHS, but a US SDS is rarely enough on its own for WHMIS. We list exactly what to change.

Supplier SDS reviews at scale

Large catalogues are triaged first, so the riskiest supplier SDSs are reviewed and fixed before the rest.

Reviewed and signed off by a specialist

Every SDS, label and finding is reviewed and signed off by a regulatory specialist who knows the rules in each market you sell into.

  • Checked against current rules
  • Sources recorded
  • One specialist from quote to delivery
